The History of the Nazionale

The Nazionale welcomes its guests, whether tourists passing through or those who wish to enjoy the greenery of the Maritime Alps.

The building was constructed at the end of the 19th century by Macario Macario. For over a century, what was once called Trattoria Nazionale has been managed by the Macario family.

Many generations have passed the baton over the course of a hundred years. The experiences passed down from generation to generation ensure that customers always find a familial atmosphere, born from the deep love that each family member has for their business, paired with a growing professionalism gained through continuous training, stemming from the desire to meet the new needs of guests.

Today, the Nazionale is an extended family, in which, in addition to the hotels and the restaurant Il Nazionale, guests can also find a small local bistro offering traditional dishes, simple service, and tasteful proposals.

The latest addition to the family is La Bottega, a place of taste where bakery products are made, which then end up on the tables of the restaurant, bistro, and even in the breakfasts of the hotels. Here, in the store, besides the coffee, one can find ice cream made 100% from seasonal products and valley milk, small delights that food lovers cannot miss.

The future is yet to be written, and the pen is in the hands of a solid and united group; we will see where it leads.
